The basketball capital of the world brought home yet another championship banner on Sunday night when the UConn women’s basketball team defeated South Carolina. This was the Huskies' 12th national title, the most in all of college basketball. Press conference and video footage courtesy of the NCAA.
Azzi Fudd’s first half heroics lead UConn to Final Four win over UCLA

No. 2 seed UConn Women’s basketball took down No. 1 seed UCLA in dominant fashion in the Final Four. A 19-point first half performance by Azzi Fudd gave UConn the boost they needed to secure the win. For the fourth time in the last five years UConn came up short in the Big East Tournament Semifinal. Creighton will go on to face St. Johns on Saturday night, while UConn will wait till Selection Sunday to see what their future holds.
